More (emptiness)

We don't really need more things. We need each other (more).

When working is a means only, to buy something that someone made by working hard, so as to be able to buy something that someone invented working really hard, so they could buy something that someone marketed working long hours, so that they could buy something, there is nobody there. There really just isn't anyone present in that cloud of motion. Not even, to notice the emptiness. It's an energy that leaves you behind.

I don't want us to run this race. When we get to the finish line, I can see that our faces will be worn and we won't want to look back. It'll be what we don't want to see; what we cannot talk about. It's where we'll be. It'll feel familiar because we know it.

We feel it now.
